14cmx20cmx10cm, technique: the Raku ceramics
The work "Flock" consists of sculptures, size 14cmx20cmx10cm, made using the ceramic Raku technique. The sculptures represent migrants as unusual flying creatures that have the bodies of birds with human heads. Each sculpture has the face of a person of different ages and gender. A common feature is that their eyes are closed, which can represent a dream of a desired final destination, a moment when they are immersed in their own memories, or an inability to find the right path.
