COMMON WINGS / 2019, artistic performance and installation
Size is changeable
“Common wings” is a result of a yearlong art project Common Ground that consisted of two parts. The first, interactive part, took place in North Main Street, in Cork, Ireland. People passing by were asked to take wings made out of atlas pages covered with geographic maps and write down what represents freedom for them. Their statements were then photographed and printed. The second part of “Common Wings” had two art installations created out of photographs and paper wings, which were displayed in the windows of charity shops.
