A triptych, 30cmx30cm, technique: pencil on paper
The triptych “The Sixth Extinction” represents modern scientific research which confirms that a lot of different kinds of amphibians will be the first animals to be wiped out of every climate zone unless the warming of the planet's surface is stopped. A series of 3 drawings describes the extinction of frogs through an origami froglet (origami - a technique for emulating animals made of paper). Note that the zones where they are most at risk of becoming extinct are represented on a geography paper map (the frogs are actually made of).
