Size is changeable, technique: combinatory technique (a plate, ceramics, fruit, dried insects) This installation ‘’Canestra di frutta, Michelangelo Merisi Carvaggio’’ offers the artist’s somewhat ironic perspective on the fruit basket/plate. Carvaggio’s fruit basket painted in 1599 would be nowadays considered unhealthy, almost fake, and odorous with dead insects.
